Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in the Gateway to Africa

Akwaaba! Welcome Home! Your journey begins at Kotoka International Airport, where our expert Cultural Guide will greet you with a warm Ghanaian welcome. Relax in a private, air-conditioned vehicle as we sweep you toward your hotel.Once checked in, settle in for an orientation briefing to prepare you for the unforgettable odyssey ahead, followed by a welcome dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2: The Heart & Soul of Accra

Highlights: W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, Black Star Square, Jamestown

Awaken to a vibrant breakfast before diving into a panoramic exploration of Ghana’s rhythmic capital. 

After we depart to the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre  to honor  the "Father of Pan-Africanism" at his final home and library, a treasure trove of manuscripts and culture. Later in the day we see the  Independence Arch & Black Star Square Stand in the heart of Ghana's ceremonial grounds and visit the bustling Arts and Crafts market nearby & visit the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park to Pay your respects to Ghana’s founding father at his magnificent mausoleum, set in serene gardens we finally head to the Jamestown  and wander through one of Accra’s oldest districts. Marvel at the historic 1921 lighthouse and soak in the salt-air history of the Gulf of Guinea.

Day 3: The Art of Adornment

Highlight: Hands-on Textile Workshop

Today, you become an artisan. After breakfast, visit a specialized craft center for an immersive Batik and Tie-Dye workshop. Learn the ancient language of patterns and use traditional techniques to design and create your very own custom fabric, a wearable piece of history to take home.

Day 4: Accra | Kumasi | The Golden Stool

Highlight: The Okomfo Anokye Sword Site

We leave the coast behind for Kumasi, the historic seat of the Ashanti Empire. As we traverse the city’s British colonial architecture, we reach the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site. Here, a 300-year-old sword is wedged into the ground, marking the spot where the Golden Stool descended from the heavens. Legend says the kingdom stands as long as the sword remains unmoved.

Day 5: Kumasi | Masterpieces of the Ashanti

Highlights: 3 Iconic Craft Villages

Journey into the lush countryside where time-honored traditions breathe through the hands of master craftsmen.


  • Adanwomase: Witness the rhythmic dance of the looms as world-famous Kente cloth is woven by hand. You may even have the honor of meeting the village chief.

  • Ntonso: Learn the philosophy of Adinkra symbols. Discover how natural black dye is sourced from tree bark and stamp your own personalized sash.

  • Ahwiaa: Watch master carvers transform wood into royal stools, walking sticks, and the famous Ashanti fertility dolls.

Day 6: Kumasi | Royal Lineages & Sacred Shrines

Highlights: Prempeh II Museum & Besease Shrine

Step inside the Prempeh II Jubilee Museum to uncover the genealogy of the Ashanti Kings and the rich tapestry of the Akan tribe. Later, visit the Besease Traditional Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage site and a rare architectural marvel where the legendary Queen Mother, Nana Yaa Asantewa, once sought spiritual guidance before battle.

Day 7: Kumasi | The Last Bath |  The Coast of Gold

Highlights: Assin Manso Slave River & Elmina Drive

We head toward the coast, stopping at Assin Manso. This somber historical site was the final stop on the slave route; visit the "Donkor Nsuo" (Slave River), where captured ancestors took their final bath on African soil. Arriving in Cape Coast, we enjoy a scenic drive through a city that still echoes with the weight of its colonial past.

Day 8: Elimina | Reclaiming the Connection

Highlights: Elmina Castle & Fihankra Ceremony


  • Elmina Castle: Explore the oldest European structure in Sub-Saharan Africa, a UNESCO site with a hauntingly beautiful exterior and a dark interior legacy.

  • Fihankra & Naming Ceremony: Participate in a powerful ritual designed to restore spiritual ties to the Diaspora. This homecoming concludes with a traditional naming ceremony, where you will receive your certificate of authentication.

  • Cape Coast Dungeon: Walk the emotional path through the "Door of No Return," reclaiming the journey in the opposite direction of those who were lost.

Day 10: Aburi Garden | Chasing the falls

We return toward Accra, stopping at the lush Aburi Botanical Gardens. Spend a leisurely day surrounded by tropical flora. Whether you choose to ride a quad bike through the trails, take a refreshing break by a waterfall, or enjoy a themed picnic on the manicured lawns, the focus today is on pure rejuvenation.

Day 11: A Day of Hope

After breakfast, Experience the true heart of Ghana by spending the day at any Home for Children. This is an opportunity to contribute through coaching, mentoring, or simple companionship. Whether playing sports or helping with schoolwork, the connection you make here will stay with you forever. Later, retire to your hotel in Peduase.

Day 12: Day at Leisure

Today is your day to simply be. Indulge in the "soft life" with a day at leisure. Lounge by the pool, visit the spa, or enjoy group activities at your own pace. Reflection and relaxation are the only items on today's agenda.

Your final morning is yours to explore any hidden corners of Accra you’ve missed or to do some last-minute gift shopping. With the assistance of your driver and guide, make your final memories in the Motherland before your transfer to Kotoka International Airport for your flight home.
