Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to the Motherland

Akwaaba! Your adventure begins at Kotoka International Airport, where our expert Cultural Guide will greet you with a warm Ghanaian welcome. Relax in your private, air-conditioned vehicle as we transfer you to your hotel. Once checked in, settle in for an orientation briefing to prepare you for the unforgettable journey ahead.

Day 2: The Heart of Accra

Highlights: W.E.B. DuBois Centre, Black Star Square, Jamestown 

After a decadent buffet breakfast, dive into the rhythmic energy of Accra. We’ll traverse the economic and administrative heartbeat of a city alive with color and history. Pay homage at the W.E.B. Du Bois Centre, home of the Father of Pan‑Africanism. Stand proudly at Independence Square, beneath the Black Star Gate, symbolizing Ghana’s freedom. Then wander through Jamestown, where colonial lighthouses meet vibrant murals and street performers. The air hums with music, laughter, and the scent of grilled plantains a perfect introduction to Ghana’s soul.

Day 3: Museums & Markets

Highlights: National Museum, Makola Market, Kwame Nkrumah Museum

Today is a sensory celebration of Ghana’s sights, sounds,textures, art, history, and everyday life. Begin your morning at the National Museum, where Ghana’s story unfolds through centuries of creativity and resilience. Wander through galleries filled with ancient artifacts, royal regalia, and traditional musical instruments. Each exhibit tells a tale from the Ashanti Kingdom’s golden legacy to the nation’s journey toward independence.

Next, plunge into the heartbeat of Accra at Makola Market, a kaleidoscope of color, sound, and scent. Here, bargaining is not just commerce, it's culture. The air buzzes with laughter and conversation as traders display vibrant Kente cloth, hand‑woven baskets, and bold African prints. 

Later in the day  pay homage to Ghana’s founding father at the Kwame Nkrumah Museum, a newly revitalized landmark celebrating the vision and courage of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Stroll through the serene gardens, admire the striking bronze statue, and explore interactive exhibits that chronicle Ghana’s path to freedom. The museum’s architecture, a blend of modern design and symbolic heritage offers a powerful reflection of unity and progress.

As the sun dips low, enjoy a quiet moment on the museum grounds, watching the golden light dance across the fountains. It’s a day that captures Ghana’s essence: proud, passionate, and profoundly human.

Day 4: Into the Hills: Aburi & Asenema

Highlights: Aburi Botanical Gardens, Asenema Waterfall 

Escape the city’s buzz for the cool embrace of the Akuapem Hills. Stroll beneath towering trees at Aburi Botanical Gardens, a colonial‑era sanctuary of exotic plants and butterflies. Continue to Asenema Waterfall, a hidden cascade surrounded by emerald forest  the perfect spot for a quiet moment or a joyful splash.

Day 5: Anniversary Celebration at Akosombo

Hip-Hip-Hurray! Today we celebrate your  Anniversary in true "soft life" style. We depart for the tranquil banks of the Volta River at Akosombo.

Today is pure indulgence. Journey to Akosombo, nestled on the tranquil banks of the Volta River. The “No Pin Rule” applies  you won’t lift a finger! Enjoy rejuvenating spa treatments, river views, and serenity. As evening falls, dress up for your Anniversary Dinner at Dua Restaurant, where Afrobeat rhythms, gourmet cuisine, and laughter fill the air.

Day 6: Caves & Cruises

Highlights: Shai Hills, Volta Lake Cruise

Explore the ancestral caves of the Krobo people at Shai Hills, hiking through dry evergreen forest alive with baboons and antelopes. Later, board a boat for a Volta Lake Cruise, gliding past fishing villages and the majestic Adomi Bridge as the sun paints the sky gold. 

Day 7: The Blue Retreat

Highlights: Kokrobite Beach, Big Blue Resort

Leaving the river behind, we return to the coast for a day of barefoot bliss. At Big Blue Resort, the bohemian charm of Kokrobite Beach invites you to unwind. Sip fresh coconut water, dance to live drumming, or simply watch the waves kiss the shore. .

Day 9: The Emotional Journey: Assin Manso & Cape Coast

Highlights: Donkor Nsuo (Slave River), Cape Coast Castle
