Itinerary

Days 1–2 — Accra and Kokrobite: Rhythm of the Coast

Arrive in Accra, Ghana’s vibrant capital. After a warm welcome, visit Christianborg Castle, a seventeenth‑century fortress that served as both a colonial stronghold and later the seat of Ghana’s government. Spend the afternoon relaxing at Labadi Beach Hotel, enjoying its exclusive private beach, tropical gardens, and ocean‑view dining. Later, transfer to Kokrobite, a lively coastal village known for its artistic community and laid‑back vibe. Enjoy drumming and dance workshops with local performers, fresh seafood dinners under the stars, and evenings filled with music and laughter.

Days 3–4 — Keta: Lagoon Serenity and History

Travel east to Keta, where the Atlantic meets the Volta estuary. Visit Fort Prinzenstein, a poignant reminder of Ghana’s colonial past. Take a guided tour of the fort and its historical exhibits, then board a boat to explore the Keta Lagoon, observing fishermen and migratory birds. Visit local salt pans and craft markets before ending your day with a sunset dinner overlooking the lagoon.

Days 5–6 — Ada Foah: River Meets the Sea

Head to Ada Foah, a tranquil paradise where the Volta River flows into the Atlantic. Stay at the luxurious Aqua Safari Resort and enjoy a guided mangrove cruise through island communities. Visit local gin distilleries and fishing villages, then spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool or beach with personal butler service. Evenings feature bonfires, live music, and soothing coastal breezes.

Days 7–8 — Cape Coast: Echoes of the Past

Journey west to Cape Coast, the heart of Ghana’s historical narrative. Tour Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites that tell the story of the transatlantic slave trade. Explore the Cape Coast Arts Centre and local markets, dine at oceanfront restaurants serving grilled tilapia and jollof rice, and visit the Posuban Shrines to learn about Fante traditions. Evenings are for reflection and connection by the sea.

Days 9–10 — Busua: Paradise Found

Continue to Busua, one of Ghana’s most picturesque beaches. Spend two days surfing or practicing beach yoga, then take a guided hike to Butre Fort for panoramic coastal views. Enjoy seafood barbecues and palm wine tastings as the sun sets over the ocean. Busua’s relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect finale to your coastal adventure.

Days 11–12 — Return to Accra

After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning before returning to Accra. Spend your final night at Labadi Beach Hotel, relaxing on its private beach or enjoying a farewell dinner with live music and Ghanaian cuisine. Reflect on your journey  a blend of serenity, history, and cultural discovery before your departure flight.
